The Board of Directors of OJSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" approved the business plan for the company’s 2011-2016 strategic development program with the outlook up to 2020. This was specified in the company’s message.
The business plan is the key document for the company’s mid-term and long-term operation and development structure, which involves feedstock basis enlarging, rubber production unit expansion, and new plastics production unit construction. Implementation of the development program involves stage-wise construction of new ethylene production complex with capacity of 1 mln. tons per year. The company’s development program corresponds to the Russia’s development strategy for chemical and petrochemical industries for the period up to 2015, and to the oil and gas development program of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period from 2010 up to 2014.
In addition, the board of directors noted the information on efficiency of Nizhnekamskneftekhim’s production units, and implementation progress of "2006-2010 Energy Saving Program".
The message informs that during the mentioned program 457 energy-efficient measures were implemented, the economical impact of which equaled to more than RUB 2.7 bln. The energy saving program is currently developed for the period from 2011 up to 2015 with the outlook up to 2020.
The board of directors also noted the information on the company’s sales activity in 2010, and pointed out the positive sales dynamics.
OJSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" is one of the biggest Russian petrochemical manufacturers. The company’s production complex consists of ten key production plants and ten divisions (railway transport, ethylene mains, etc.).
