She assured the enterprise’s employees that there are no plans to increase the retirement age.
Today, Deputy Chair of the Government of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets visited Kazanorgsintez OJSC in the framework of the working visit to Kazan. Together with Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, Vice Prime Minister looked over the production shops and met the employees of the enterprise. It was reported by the press service of the President of Tatarstan.
During the tour over the enterprise the President of Tatarstan told to the Russian Vice Prime Minister about the extensive modernization program implemented at Kazanorgsintez OJSC. After that the guests visited one of new production facilities – a polycarbonate plant, where they met with the employees.
Kazanorgsintez OJSC’s General Director Farid Minigulov informed Olga Golodets about the enterprise’s social program. According to him, last year the company spent over RUB 600 million for the social sphere and various one-time allowances are paid to the employees. The enterprise’s employees asked Olga Golodets if the government was planning to increase the retirement age. “It’s not planned!” RF’s Vice Prime Minister said to assure the employees.
Also the employees of Kazanorgsintez asked whether the paid period for women on maternity leave would be extended from 1.5 years to 3 years. “As far as extending of the paid period beyond 1.5 year is concerned, it must be mentioned, that there is a great staffing shortfall in Russia. That’s why we create incentives for mothers to back at work quicker,” Olga Golodets noted. “For this reason, we develop conditions, among them we implement a large-scale kindergarten construction programme.” At the same time, according to the information from Vice Premier, the issue of increase in the allowance for women having children under 1.5 years is now discussed by the Government of Russia.
“It is a pleasure to visit your enterprise. When you come here you feel proud,” said Olga Golodets when addressing the employees of Kazanorgsintez at the end of her visit to the enterprise and wished them success in their work and well-being of their families.
