Nizhnekamskneftekhim OJSC will ensure consistency of the relationships with Nizhnekamsk. These intentions were reaffirmed by the participants of an extraordinary general meeting of the companyís shareholders that took place in Nizhnekamsk today. Along with the management of TAIF Group and the Board members of the petrochemical giant, it was attended by the Prime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov and the mayor of Nizhnekamsk, head of Nizhnekamsk municipal district Aydar Metshin.
The main issue of the agenda was election of a new Board of Directors of the company that remained almost unchanged if compared to the previous year. Vladimir Busygin, TAIF PSCís Deputy General Director for the management and strategic development of Nizhnekamskneftekhim was unanimously elected as the Board Chairman to substitute Albert Shigabutdinov, General Director, TAIF PSC. From that day forth, Albert Shigabutdinov is an honorary member of the Board of Directors.
An appreciation for a 7-year long work of Albert Shigabutdinov in the capacity of Nizhnekamskneftekhimís Board Chairman was given today by the Head of Tatarstan Government Ildar Khalikov. He also emphasized the achievements of the petrochemical giant made during the recent years under the leadership of Vladimir Busygin. ďYour enterprise is the major one not only in the republic, but in Russia, too. This is a company, on the success of which wellbeing of thousands people dependsĒ, Ildar Khalikov stressed. ďIn the last 15 years, the joint-stock company has gone a very noticeable way, some fundamental changes occurred within this period, and in many respects it happened thanks to Vladimir Busygin,Ē Tatarstan Prime Minister noted.
Aydar Metshin, mayor of Nizhnekamsk, also extended a word of gratitude to the companyís Board of Directors having placed a special focus on Mr. Busyginís personal services to the enterprise and the city.
Upon the closure of the extraordinary general meeting of Nizhnekamskneftekhim OJSCís shareholders, the first meeting of a newly elected Board of Directors was held, where the powers of a new General Director of Nizhnekamskneftekhim OJSC, Oleg Nesterov, were confirmed, as reported by the press service of Nizhnekamsk municipal district.
