“Hyundai possesses huge experience in the field of waste recycling and disposal. We are willing to cooperate with you in this industry”, Minnikhanov suggested.
“In Korea, government has been dealing with this environmental issue since 1990. Our technologies cover the area with a 23 million population”, Keun Woo Park stated. Primary separation of garbage is arranged for each apartment, and the wastes collected are converted into energy. That being said, our citizens are interested in waste recycling because it prevents the growth in the utility costs.
“The Korean project should be thoroughly studied, its pay-back and environmental effect must be estimated”, Minnikhanov added. He gave a task to establish a working group that will include the representatives from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Executive Committees of Kazan and other cities, in order to adopt and implement the Korean experience.
