As a result of the second stage of the development programme, Kazanorgsintez OJSC (a TAIF Group company) plans to reach revenue in the amount of RUB 120 billion and a RUB 15 billion net profit, Albert Shigabutdinov, General Director, TAIF PSC reported yesterday. “The second stage development programme is now being elaborated; it is not approved yet,” he reported. According to him, the main development is supposed to occur due to manufacturing of new products.
Mr. Shigabutdinov didn’t specify the expected duration of the programme being developed. Meanwhile, according to his comments made earlier, the company finalizes its development programme covering the period till 2025 and by 2020 it plans to reach a RUB 100 billion revenue.
Albert Shigabutdinov mentioned that while in 2003, prior to implementation of the first stage of the development programme, Kazanorgsintez used to produce 350 thousand tons of polyethylene, this year its output amounted to 700 thousand tons of polyethylene and ca. 70 thousand tons of polycarbonate. In the coming one and a half or two years the production is planned to be increased up to 900 thousand tons of polyethylene per annum. According to him, the growth planned is to be reached through higher utilization.
Farid Minigulov, General Director, Kazanorgsintez informed that the company’s revenue in this year is supposed to be at least at the level of the past year i.e. not less than RUB 45.5 billion. It is planned also to maintain capital investments at the level of 2012 — RUB 1.6 billion. “The main task is to repay the debt on a timely manner,” Mr. Minigulov stressed.
